SATURDAY MORNING & DAYTIME
Our annual Pet Parade will start the day where locals can come and strut with their pet down the cat walk. This year the Animal Shelter’s Mobile adoption unit will be on location with some of their special friends. You can enjoy playing with these special pets and even adopt them to take home with you.
Our Fittest Kid in the County event will be a great way to get the kids and grown ups out for some activities that will enhance our well being with some of the fun new things such as:
- Bootie Beat
A high-energy fitness class that incorporates drumming on stability balls for a great cardio workout! This class if fun and energetic and great for any age and fitness level. - Zumba
This is a latin-inspired fitness class where dance moves (such as The Salsa and the Meranga) are put together to a mix of Latin and Hip-Hop music for a fun workout! It’s more than just exercise… it’s a party! Sponsored by Body of Stone. - Other activities during this event include:

Our Annual Corn Hole Tournament, sponsored by 15INC and Jeff Shepperd continues to grow each year and this year should be the best yet. This free tournament has great cash prizes and is loaded with friendly competition and good wholesome down home fun.

This year’s Miss and Teen Miss Laurel County Homecoming Festival Pageant is sponsored by Community Trust Bank, Pepsi Cola and London Laurel County Tourist Commission.
Our Pre-Show this year will start at 6:00 pm and will feature great talent by the London Jazz Orchestra to start the evening.
Our Saturday evening Miss and Teen Miss Laurel County Homecoming Festival Pageant is one of the most beautifully crafted pageants in our area. With great local talent performing throughout the evening, this night under the stars will bring back memories of the past for the locals of our community and will help us crown the next Miss and Teen Miss Laurel County Homecoming Festival to represent our community over the next year.
The prizes and scholarships given by local businesses to the winners of this pageant are second to none. We are proud of all the sponsors who support this special evening and encourage our young women to participate in this great honor.
