Rules and Information Sheet
1. The contestant must be single, never married, never had a marriage annulled and never had any children.
2. Teen and Miss Contestants will wear and be judged in theme wear, evening gown and interview that will take place prior to pageant that day. The Opening Act outfit will not be judged. Wardrobe must be pre-approved prior to the pageant.
3. Application fee is $50.00.
4. The contestants of the Laurel County Homecoming Pageant must be a resident of Laurel County.
5. Contestants will be judged on beauty, poise, and presentation. They will be judged during interview, evening gown, and themed wear.
6. Drawing for contestant numbers will take place the first rehearsal which will be announced at a later date.
7. Contestants must participate in the Friday Evening Downtown Affair @ 5:00 on the 19th with the parade to follow.
8. All practices will be closed to staff and contestants only.
9. In order to maintain an unbiased contest, we will retain judges from out of town with no pre-existing relationship to any contestant.
